This is a one-person art studio, not an ad-tech company. Here's everything this site knows about you, and why.

What's collected, and when

When you buy a piece: your name, email, and shipping address — collected by Stripe on their checkout page and shared with the studio so your painting can reach you. Card numbers never touch this site's servers; they stay with Stripe.

When you send an inquiry: the name, email, and message you type, kept in the studio's records so I can reply and remember our conversation.

When you join Studio Notes: your email, used only for that occasional letter. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.

Analytics without surveillance

This site uses Umami — cookieless, anonymous, aggregate-only. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no cookie banner needed because there's nothing to consent to.

Email you might get

Purchase confirmations and order updates; replies to your inquiries; if you started a checkout and stepped away, at most one reminder about the piece you were considering — never a drip campaign; and Studio Notes if — and only if — you signed up.

Who touches the data

No data is ever sold or shared for advertising. It passes only through the services that run the studio: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), EasyPost (shipping labels), Cloudflare (infrastructure), and Umami (anonymous analytics) — each only to do its job.

Keeping & deleting

Order records are kept as long as bookkeeping and tax law require. Everything else — inquiry history, newsletter signup — can be seen or deleted whenever you like: email hello@natanlawson.com and it's done.
